Current operation – The term current operation refers to the necessity for all members of PMOI/MKO at all levels to undertake ongoing psychological manipulation through ritual daily confession and repentance sessions.

In June 2003, police arrested 167 people in the Paris suburb of Auvers-sur-Oise where the MKO is based. Of those arrested, 17 were placed under formal investigation, including Maryam Rajavi, the leader of the MKO’s political wing on suspicion of "associating with wrongdoers in relation with a terrorist undertaking".
The statement of National Council of Resistance the front organization of PMOI issued an announcement on Act.6th 2008, considering the will of Iraqi nation to take the control of the base of terrorist cult of Rajavi, as a lie claiming it to be a plot against MKO. NCRI secretariat noted that Nejat Society forces the families to travel to Iraq and ask for the release of their children from Camp Ashraf.
It’s obvious that all the activities and the presence of the families at Nejat Society are aimed to the release of their children from Camp Ashraf and the efforts and interactions have terrified the destructive cult of Rajavi. The families, who wait for the freedom of their children and the removal of Camp Ashraf, accepted the risk of the threat posed by the jailers of cult.
Masud Rajavi the leader of the destructive MKO cult must know that a large number of families have registered in the offices of Nejat ngo all over the country to travel to Iraq as soon as possible to provide the facilities for the rescue of their children from terrorist cult of Rajavi.
A large number of the families’ letters have been mailed to the offices of International Committee of Red Cross and Iraqi Embassy in Tehran and the Iraqi government.
The Nejat Society and families are well aware that MKO had tied its life with Saddam’s dictatorship analytically and strategically. After the fall of Saddam Hussein and the lack of the dictator’s support for MEK, everyday you are witnessing the decline of the cult and the breakdown of the internal relations in it. The presence of a terrorist organization with the background of massacre of Iraqi Kurds in the North and Iraqi Shiites in the South and a disastrous file of cooperation with Saddam Hussein ended with the approval of the No.214 ruling by Iraqi government.
The undeniable decision of Iraqi government terrified the cult so seriously that it tries hard to lobby some uninformed or self-interested parties in the West, spending large amounts of money to gather signatures or approval against Iraqi ruling.
The declining condition of MKO actually led the parents to be concerned about their children’s life and the occurence of a human disaster against the deceived members of the cult.
Nejat Society believes in the right for the mentally and physically captured individuals of Camp Ashraf to ask the ICRC and the Refugee Affairs Commission to provide the condition to choose either a third country or Iran to live a normal life.
According to the reports the mental and physical condition of the victims in Camp of terrorist cult of Rajavi is so crucial. They need emergency help of RC in the Camp and the necessary treatments for the patient members who are in the hospitals outside the Camp.
The execution of the rulings of Iraqi government and the release of beloved ones of the cult’s prison, are the request of the majority of the residents of Camp Ashraf .
The third option has been presented by MKO for the last three years as part of its propaganda against Iranian regime. They have repeated the words like “referendum” or “third option” on their website and their postings or articles on the other media like Ali Safavi’s article “third option in Iran; support the regime dissidents” on August 7th, 2008 when he states that “removing the immoral, and now illegal, terror tag against the PMOI will foster a new approach towards Iran, one that offers considerable strategies depth and long-term benefits.” […]” there is a third viable option, which is embodied by the Iranian people and their organized opposition” he quoted from Maryam Rajavi’s speech addressed to European parliamentarians.
According to Ali Safavi, third option would be practical by supporting the MKO and the support would come from the west that has listed the group as a terrorist organization.
He stated that removing the group from list would offer benefits!
What are the benefits of the removal of MKO from the list of terrorist organizations? The west will not risk the security of its citizens by supporting a group with a long history of suicide cult-like activities following the arrest of Maryam Rajavi in France or the assassinations including of those American civilians in Iran in the 1970’s.
Maryam Rajavi also views the third option in support of the Iranian people who hardly even remember who MEK are. If the elderlies of Iranian society remember them well, they will absolutely remember the bombing and assassinations the group committed against their Iranian compatriots: civilians or authorities. They will never forget the MKO served as Saddam Hussein’s spy during the Iran-Iraq war. The group is also well known by some Iranians; those whose beloved ones are captured in Camp Ashraf and are not allowed, by MKO, to contact their children.
So where does Mrs. Rajavi‘s support come from? She might still dream in the illusion of being the president of the future Iran.
While MKO is looking for the support for their third option, the only supporters could seldom found among western politicians that according to James Graff:”there are also reasons why western governments remain wary: among them are the group’s ideological origins in a mixture of Marxism and Islam, the aid they offered to and received from Saddam Hussein and charges, which they deny, implicating them in terrorist acts in Iran. Many independent analysts, such as Paris-based sociologist Farhad Khosrokhavar, say the group has few supporters inside Iran.[…]the PMOI represents a Third way the west is still unlikely to embrace –even if it has no other options either.” (Time CNN-World- “Are the PMOI Iran’s last hope for a peaceful solution” by James Graff, July, 7, 2006)
According to Mujahedin, the support can also come from the organization’s sympathizers who are so got in the busy life of the west where they can barely find any time to participate the group’s so –called large gatherings with the exaggerated number of participants who are mostly deceived by democratic slogans of MKO’s propaganda system or are simply rented by MKO, just like the German actors or Polish students . Are such types of gathering enough to enjoy the support of the Iranians or the west?
The Iranian expatriates in abroad hardly risk their lives or freedom to attend a demonstration held by a terrorist designated radical Marxist group. A demonstration in which there is always the risk of being arrested or imprisoned.
The so called sectarian NCRI claimed that the offices of Nejat Society in Iran forced the families of Ashraf residents, threatening them and putting pressure on them, to go to Iraq and make their children leave Camp Ashraf and return to Iran.
NCRI also claimed that families are told to sign pre-written letters addressed to the International Committee of Red Cross, adding that Nejat Society threatened a family to death because they refused the cooperation.
Nejat Society would like to inform the patriotic and broad-minded people:
The honorable families of Nejat are some of the most respectable and faithful Iranians who never believe in the terrorist destructive cult of MEK traitors who have a black file of assassinations and spying as Saddam Hussein’s accomplice during the 8 years of Iran-Iraq war.
The slogans like “Down with terrorism “, “there is no good or bad terrorism” , “ leave our children “ and the self-will slogans “ Down with Rajavi” which are chanted by the families in their gatherings proves their hatred towards MKO cult .
Having enjoyed the motivation and eagerness of these families, Nejat Society succeeded to return more than 600 of the innocent beloved ones who defected from the hypocrite cult, to the warm embrace of their families and their mother land, Iran of where you are the worst traitor who serve as spies for the United States.
There is no need for Nejat Society to threaten the families or to force them to cooperate with it.
In fact, the respectful families, themselves ,asking for the release of their deceived children captured in Ashraf prison, have an active role in Nejat Society activities.
It is that the cult of Rajavi speaks of the same families whose deceived children were forced to insult their parents or to spit at them and to slap them on the face when had gone to Camp Ashraf to visit them.
Mr. Masud Rajavi,
The families , personally ,in their own style and with their good nature, write the letters to ICRC from their cities or towns. They, personally, bear the difficulties of traveling to submit their complaints to international community.
Speaking of threat to death, you might mean the Mustafa Muhammadi family who were so severely beaten by your bully agents in front of Ashraf until the American forces came saved them from your hands.
Nejat Society including the honorable families of captives of Camp Ashraf is decided to continue its activities until the release of their children to have a free will to choose by their own. MEK cult can not prevent the residents of Ashraf from visiting their families (with lying, threatening and concealment) any more. They can no more tell the members falsely that some of their family members have died in order to kill their will to contact their families.
In Mujahedin’s opinion, the families are refused as poison but in Nejat Society ‘s idea ,the families are the oppressed ones whose children have been manipulated under destructive indoctrinations of Masud Rajavi for three decades and that’s why they have not been able to contact their families.
The same indoctrinations forbid any family relationship or marriage in Ashraf base and force the married ones to divorce and leave their children in the poisonous orphan houses of the cult in Europe. No child has been born in Camp Ashraf for twenty years now.
The announcement of the secretariat of NCRI is another scandal due to their narrow – mindedness. They are still dreaming their mirage.

A delegation from Nejat Society traveled to Geneva to participate the meeting of United Nations Human Rights Council and to visit the delegation from other international human rights organizations in order to prevent the political abuse of the remaining captives in Camp Ashraf, and guarantee the individual rights of those who basically deny terrorism and are willing to return to the society. Nejat Society delegation includes:
Mr. Babak Amin, Mr. Arash Sametipour, Mrs. Marjan Malek, Mrs. Ronak Dashti.
As a terrorist organization closely allied with Saddam Hussein, MKO should not be considered as serious as any other source. Relying on news sources like MKO terrorist cult, is just like using the information of a news agency that absolutely lies or exaggerates incidents in order to run their own cause: regime change in Iran. Therefore every time the IAEA went on discussing the Iranian nuclear program, MKO’s propaganda machine set off for repeating their old allegation to “reveal” “clandestine” nuclear activities of Iran. MKO has almost very little information on Iran’s nuclear program and this little part is also known to the world. The only thing MKO do is to repeat and exaggerate the same words from time to time showing photos of Natanz installations with explanations by Ali Reza Jaafarzadeh. As Michael Rubin says in his famous article”Monsters of the left”; “The MKO is masters of propaganda …[but] terrorism, the deliberate targeting of civilians for political gain, should never be acceptable”.
There are some special phrases usually used by MKO members and supporters such as “ democratic alternative”, ”democracy in Iran”, ”human rights”, ”freedom” … to represent a misleading image of the cult of Rajavi but as Michael Rubin exactly defines them :” Many “monsters of the left” use the rhetoric of democracy to realize their ambition. Masud and Maryam Rajavi and the organization over which they exert dictatorial control, are no exception.”
In 2005, when the Human Rights Watch published the detailed report on human right abuses committed by MKO, the organization launched a large champagne to say that the report was due to a plot between the HRW and the agents of Iranian regime! And of course the HRW didn’t stay quiet and gave a response to such allegations. According to MKO’s ideology anyone who is not with MKO is with the Islamic Republic.
MKO’s disinformation quest is working hard to deceive European and American politic men by their propaganda including their campagne to remove the name of the cult from the UK’s terrorist list. They are still on the State Department’s list of foreign terrorist organizations although they allege that MKO was listed as a terrorist group due to Clinton’s appeasement policy towards Iran.
Although there are some allegations on the clandestine support of some Pentagon officials for MKO but you never forget that in his pre-invasion speech before the American operation against Iraq, President Bush said: “Iraq shelters terrorist groups including Muajhedin-e-Khalq, which has used terrorist violence against Iran and in the 1970’s was responsible for killing several US military personnel and US civilians.”
The MKO exaggeration policy is also an important factor to run their propaganda machine .When in MKO websites the number of the participants in one of the groups gathering is reported as 40’000, the credible news agencies such as Washington Times reports 300 participants.
Therefore MKO’s propaganda machine distorts the truth, fabricates false information, repeats and exaggerates the clearly known realities.
The delegation visited some authorities of human rights bodies based in Geneva declaring their concerns about the recent changes in Iraq and the departure of about 300 high ranking members ( who are wanted by Interpol ) of MKO from Camp Ashraf.
They made the officials aware of the threats that exist for the captured members in the cult, asking for the creation of a convenient situation for the members to return a normal life in a free society.
Regarding that the Iraqi government ,International Red Cross and High Commissioner for the Refugees of the United Nations have the access to Camp Ashraf and regarding that those who remain in Ashraf are not included in the high ranks, Nejat Society asks the whole international human right community to demand justice for the remaining members who really deserve the right to visit their family, choose clothes other than military uniforms, the right to have access to the public information resources like newspapers, Radio or TV and the right to select their living-place.
The families whose children are taken as hostages in Camp Ashraf, asked the Iraqi government to execute the regulation ruled by the council of ministers, based on taking the responsibility of protection of Camp Ashraf from American forces and paving the way for MKO expulsion.
Nejat Society‘s Mazandaran office held a gathering on Friday August 22nd, 2008. About 300 families who have a family member in MEK’s camp in Iraq participated in the gathering where they condemned the British government’s decision on the removal of MEK from the list of terrorist organizations and sought the assistance of Iraqi government in order to aid them to visit their beloved ones after over twenty years. The meeting started with the speeches made by Mr. Hussein Nasuri and Mr. Nowrouz tavakoli who have just been saved from MEK cult; describing their memories of the cult, they mentioned how MEK officials prevent the members from visiting or contacting their families and believe deeply that the family is the poison to the organization. The defectors stated that the cult leader has officially declared that “family is the centre of corruption”! The other lecturer at the gathering was Mr. Ebrahim Khodabande who has a twenty–three–year experience of witnessing MKO, addressed the families:” the security contract between Iraq and the US, in which the future of Camp Ashraf in defined, has terrified Rajavi’s Cult which is worried for the defection of the forces due to the transfers made between US and Iraq.” He also added:” the MKO Cult sees the families as its main threat and is sure that if the members could contact their origins and routs, they would leave their organizational identity and would associate with the society and family as a true human being.” As an ex-member who served in the highest ranks of MKO in Europe and Iraq – under Saddam Hussein’s rule- addressed the families:” we should be concerned about the recent decision made by the UK because they paved the way for the instrumental use of your children in a new phase and such an action is considered as the reproduction of terrorism and it will take victims out of your children.” Mr. Sametipur, the responsible for foreign relations of Nejat Society, who has a long experience of living in the MKO in the US or Iraq, was another speaker at the gathering. He gave a report on his recent visits with the Red Cross representatives, British diplomats and parliamentarians and also Swiss and Iraqi parliament members. He distributed some forms among families to fill out to state their petition against MKO asking for visiting their children. Mrs. Shalchi and Mrs. Malek who have precious experiences of living in MKO and are completely aware of the manipulation techniques used by MKO answered the audience’s questions on various subjects. The sort of questions asked by the families notifies the fact that they are really eager to achieve a mechanism for the rescue of their beloved ones. The gathering was covered by AlAlam TV channel, Press TV and the local mass media of the Province of Mozandaran.
