On Wednesday, October 19th, a number of family members of Ashraf residents from Gilan joined other families picketing in front of Camp Ashraf in the hope of visiting their loved ones kept by force in the camp, in a free atmosphere without the presence of the cult officials.
The MKO cult enclave is surrounded by the families of the people inside who are asking to have contact with their loved ones. The worst fear of Rajavi is for his cult members to have contact with the outside world.
Now, in order to prevent them from contacting the ordinary members, Rajavi has introduced an extra security system to try to force them back.
On Monday September19, Mr. Darius Balafkandeh joined his family . Embraced by his mother, he said with watery eyes:
“The MKO is nothing but a liar. Since the moment I decided to flee the strictly controlled system of Rajavi, I tried to reach Iraqi forces protecting Camp Ashraf with great difficultly. I was welcomed by families picketing in front of camp Ashraf. I have to say bravely that when I faced Iranian officials at the Embassy in Iraq, I was surprised to see their humanly kind treatment toward me. I found out that I had been influenced by Rajavi’s indoctrination and forced presence in the group. I had only heard lies during those years. I am really embarrassed now.”
Mr. Ali Abdi succeeded to escape Rajavi’s Cult in January 2011. He joined the families who are on strike at Ashraf gates. Mr. Abdi was taken as a war prisoner by Iraqi forces in 1985 when he was a service-man of Iranian army. In 1988 he was recruited by MKO agent, Mehdi Abrishamchi . Since he was sick and tired of hard life in Iraqi prisons, he was deceived by MKO’s propaganda and entered Camp Ashraf.
Mr.Abdi:"Previously we had no patrolling post in our units, but nowadays ,there are 6 of the most loyal members who always patrol the units and a duty officer supervises them . The members have lost their entire confidence to the group and their minds face a lot of contradictions. They should report their contradictory thoughts every day so the leaders doubt every one and fear their escape. ".."families presence at Ashraf gates has enormously impressed members but the group heads have completely blocked any runaway way."
In a meeting held in Koln, Germany in March 2011, Ms. Batoul Soltani ,former member of MKO’s leadership Council congratulated three recently separated members of Mujahedin Khalq living in Germany, Mr. Mehrdad Sagharchi, Mr. Rouhollah Tajbakhsh, Mr. Mehdi Sojoudi for their new life in free world. She also congratulated the international Woman’s Day, hoping the release of women captured in the cult of Rajavi.
March 2011- A group of human rights activists and separated members of MKO, Mr. Ebrahimi ,Mr. Sepehri ,Mr. Naseri and Mr. Kohzadi attended the meeting where they were congratulated for their release form Camp Ashraf prison.
During the meeting that lasted a few hours, MKO former members, spoke of human rights violations and various psychological pressures imposed on MKO members in Camp Ashraf.
In the afternoon of January 10th, 2011, Mr. Ahmad Jaafari, from Haji Abad , Iran escaped Camp Ashraf where he was captured by Rajavi’s cult for twenty-one years.
Immediately after his successful flee, Mr. Jaafari joined families and other defectors settled near Ashraf gates.
