Members of Women Council of the association for the Support of Iranians Living in Albania (ASILA) traveled to Shkodër in line with the goals defined for this council.
Shkodër is the fifth most populous city of the Republic of Albania. During the trip, members of ASILA Women Council introduced their association by holding a tour with different programs. They also tried to convey the message of families of members who are taken as hostages by the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) camp to the citizens of this city.
Various of other issues were raised in these meetings. Interviews were also conducted. Video clips of the interviews will be published soon.
ASILA’s Women Council was established by female members of the association, in April 2023. The main mission of the council is to be the voice of the families of MEK hostages, in particular their mothers, in the Albanian society.
