A former member of the Islamic Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has welcomed the European Union’s decision to take the MKO off the EU’s list of terrorist organizations.
Massud Khodabandeh said the ruling will give thousands of MKO members "the right to return to their families," RFE/RL’s Radio Farda reports.
Khodabandeh said the ruling will "save some of those individuals from the situation they’re facing in Iraq," where they number some 3,000.
The MKO seeks the overthrow of the Iranian government, and the EU decision has prompted sharp words from Tehran.
Organizations such as Human Rights Watch have accused the MKO of subjecting dissident members to torture.
It is still considered a terrorist group by the United States.

We are the victims of PMOI( People’s Mujahedin Organization of Iran) who

We as victims of this notorious cult ,are very surprised and insulted that the leader of this brutal cult ( MRS.MARYAM RAJAVI) whose hands are smeared with blood is allowed to participate in your parliament and even make speech in front of distinguished members of parliament which is going to happen in 26th of January ,2009 in Brussels . The conference will be implemented by the committee of sanitation and social affaires .
How do you allow such a person( MRS. MARYAM RAJAVI) whose hands are smeared with blood of Iraqi people and the dissidents of ASHRAF garrison to make speech for your honorable members? In our point of view , the presence of MRS. MARYAM RAJAVI in EUROPEAN parliament and making speech is the biggest insult to your prominent and distinguished members , the mournful people of IRAQ , and to the victims of this cult .
We are all long time members of this cult with more than twenty years record of service and we declare officially that we are completely ready to share our horrifying experiences and point of views which we obtained in this cult, with the honorable members of European parliament , European council and others whenever and wherever is possible .

A few days ago I saw an interview which was made by VOA (VOICE OF AMERICA) a few months ago with MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH who is a high ranking officer of the PMOI (Peoples Mojahedin Organization of IRAN) which is listed as a terrorist organization in the USA/CANADA/and EU countries. 
MR ALIREZA JAFARZADEH in this interview pointed out many subjects about the quantity and the quality of this organization and stories about ASHRAF garrison. I do not want to take a position about those subjects, but my intention of writing this letter is to reveal and disclose his past, especially while I was in Canada as a student (1980-1986) and he was one of the PMOI’S top operatives in the USA and CANADA.
MR ALIREZA JAFARZADEH is currently living in the USA and he is working for FOX News as an analyst of foreign affairs. I would like to draw your attention to the following surprising facts which are all truth about MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH.
He was in charge of recruiting Iranian people and members of the Moslem Iranian Students’ Society (MISS) in USA and CANADA and sending them to IRAQ to join the NLA (National Liberation Army of IRAN). I was one of the people who was recruited by him and he made a fake contract to send me to IRAQ just for THREE months, but I found out in IRAQ that whatever he said was completely a lie and there was no return. MR ALIREZA JAFARZADEH is a crook and he took advantage of my compassion toward the IRANIAN people and deployed me and others to IRAQ to become members of that criminal and terrorist organization. MR ALIREZA JAFARZADEH is a criminal who recruited many people and sent them to IRAQ to participate and be killed in terrorist missions which were orchestrated and carried out by the PMOI, for instance MR.MOHAMMAD ALI GHEYSIZADEH who was recruited, dispatched and sent to IRAQ in 1986 by MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH, was killed in the military operation named ETERNAL LIGHT (FOROGHEH JAVIDAN) in 1988. He and I were dispatched and deployed from CANADA to IRAQ with three others in 1986.
MR ALIREZA JAFARZADEH who has disguised himself as an expert and analyst in FOX NEWS also smuggled the PMOI’s agents from CANADA to the USA or vice versa through the 1980s. MR ALIREZA JAFARZADEH also smuggled one of the high ranking officers of PMOI, MRS. AZADEH REZAIE, to Canada from the USA in 1983. She traveled illegally from FRANCE to the USA with a fake identity and fake passport. After carrying out her mission in the USA, which was collecting money for buying guns and ammunition and sending more people to IRAQ, she was smuggled to CANADA by MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH. She came to the USA and CANADA to help MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH to deceive more people for sending them to IRAQ and also used her influence as a top woman commander on the ground to gather more money for terrorist activities. She couldn’t stay in CANADA because the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) and the FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) were looking for her on suspicion of smuggling drugs, so she escaped from CANADA to FRANCE. MRS. AZADEH REZAIE who is currently one of the leading council members of the PMOI, is the sister of REZA REZAIE who had a key role in the assassination of the American Colonel HAWKINS, in the 70s in TEHRAN.
In the 80s, the USA was divided into four sections by the PMOI, NORTH, SOUTH, EAST and WEST, and each section had its own PMOI headquarters. Each section was under the supervision and control of the PMOI’s top operatives. MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH was in charge of the western section, and CANADA. MR. ABOLGHASEM REZAIEE (MOHSEN) WAS IN CHARGE OF ALL FOUR SECTIONS AS A WHOLE. MR. ABOLGHASEM REZAIEE was connected to the PMOI’s PARIS head quarters and to MR. MASOUD RAJAVI directly. All those sections were gathering money in the name and favor of charities for helping the PMOI’s orphans, to buy guns, ammunition and transmitters for the PMOI’s combatants in IRAQ. One of those fake charity organizations was IRF (IRAN RELIEF FOUND) in Canada which was under the supervision of MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH and all the money which was gathered in the name of this charity was transferred to IRAQ for military purposes and missions.
The American authorities and the distinguished and prominent director of FOX News should be aware of such a terrorist trafficker and smuggler in their news channel who ruins the credibility and trustworthiness of their honorable news channel which is watched by millions of people in the USA and throughout the world everyday. I had seen MR. ALIREZA JAFARZADEH in the PMOI garrisons in IRAQ many times till the fall of SADDAM HOSSEIN. He had been coming to IRAQ to participate in special gatherings and sessions which were to inform high ranking officers of the PMOI directly by the PMOI’s leaders for their next missions in foreign countries such as the USA, CANADA, and European countries. He holds the highest PMOI organizational rank and unfortunately he has been propagandizing in favor of his terrorist cult for decades in the USA.
I would like to inform and notify the government of the USA and the FBI that this man is very dangerous and unfortunately he has taken advantage of your democracy and freedom and he has penetrated and infiltrated in one of your most important places (FOX News) and unfortunately he has deceived some of the American authorities in his own way. You are dealing with someone who was happy, joyful and content when he heard about 9/11 in BAGHERZADEH garrison, in IRAQ. You are dealing with someone who had smuggled lots of PMOI terrorists between the USA and CANADA and you are dealing with an imposter who was in charge of deceiving people and sending them to IRAQ to participate and be killed in terrorist missions. He has lots of dark spots in his organizational activities in the USA and CANADA. He is still a top agent of the terrorist cult, PMOI, in the USA.
I as a victim of this terrorist organization urge the honorable director of FOX NEWS to revise in your decision. Sack and expel him from your distinguished news channel as soon as possible. I urge the FBI and the RCMP to review his activities in the past in the USA, and Canada.

It is almost two years that Mojahedin.ws has suggested the necessity of reviewing the content of Masoud Rajavi’s so-called ideological revolution making its best to obtain its fulfillment which has been accelerated by means of communicating with the organization’s ex-members. Following the statements made by Batool Soltani, of the ex-leadership cadre of MKO, with the Sahar NGO on different aspects of MKO cultic relations including the ideological revolution, it seems necessary to have a further reference to the suggestion mentioned before. Among the statements on the personal, organizational, and political aspects of her life in MKO, that of ideological revolution is of utmost importance as she is the first female Mojahed ex-member paying enough attention to this fundamental issue.
In addition, her recruitment in the leadership council of MKO leading to close relations and intimacy with the organization leadership, Masoud Rajavi and Maryam Azdanlu, has made her statements trustworthy and reliable. We do really appreciate her precision and sensitivity in this subject paving the way for other MKO ex-members to elaborate on various aspects of the ideological revolution of Mojahedin. Even her seemingly repetitious statements manage to clarify some untold truth on the real nature of MKO and its leadership.
Another factor highlighting the significance of her statements is that they may work to persuade other MKO members to break their silence on the critical issue of the ideological revolution of Mojahedin. Before, some factors like resorting deliberately to passivity and refraining to pose challenges to the organization in order not to be put under the attack of terror of personality were stated on the reasons why MKO ex-members have kept quiet on the issue of the ideological revolution while the fact is that merely grabbing at biography writing is of no effect and fails to present a challenge for Mojahedin; on the contrary, it is welcome by Mojahedin who aim to cover the facts on the real nature of their cultist relations the uncovering of which is a terrible nightmare coming true for them.
This issue is of a significance for Mojahedin that they have refused to show any reaction to their being accused of having cultic relations since they are well aware that even their common procedure of using bad language in this matter may be destructive since in that case they are obliged to elaborate on some cultic indices pertained to them leading to the subject being updated and widespread. Therefore, instead of taking an aggressive stance and offensive position toward this accusation, they have kept quiet even on the report of the US state department in April 2007 in which MKO was referred to as a cult of personality. Taking these facts into consideration may give us a better understanding of the significance of this issue and the necessity of disclosing the content of the ideological revolution of Mojahedin.
It is a fact that Mrs. Soltani’s disclosing statements have a wide variety of functions. First, the silence of Mojahedin on her separation shows the considerable importance of the subject for them. Second, disclosing facts on the relation of Rajavi with female Mojaheds by a detached female MKO member may pose a challenge of a high cost and many negative consequences for Mojahedin. Third, it is unbearable for Rajavi that females on whom he has made so much investment leave the organization. Mojahedin’s keeping silent proves that they are truly accused of censorship and banning the release of news in camp Ashraf among rank-and-files. In fact, in practice they prove their controlling and filtering of news spread lest Ashraf residents become aware of the separation of a member of leadership council.
Here it is worthy to refer to some major points on the consequences of Mrs. Soltani separation and the covert reactions of the organization to it underlining the importance of the subject. First, as she claims Masoud Rajavi has once asserted we have no separated female member so he dares not confirm the separation of Mrs. Soltani not to be accused of giving false promises to members as previously done.
Second, Mrs. Soltani claims that her separation is of great significance for the leadership of Mojahedin to the point that they hold grab to sending secret message asking her to go wherever she wants refraining to publicize her separation from MKO. However, her separation as well as the secret message of MKO leadership has been publicized at a high cost for Masoud Rajavi and MKO.
Third, Mojahedin are not willing to acknowledge the fact that despite all the controls exerted on members willing to separate and developing the hegemony of women on men, they failed to meet the desires and inclinations of members and women in particular and all the efforts made by Rajavi to stabilize the presence of women in MKO relations proved futile to the point that many female members leave the organization upon getting the least opportunity to do so. In addition, the way Mrs. Soltani has escaped from the organization reveals the amount of her frustration over the conditions of the organization.
Anyway, contrary to what Mojahedin leaders are after, Mrs. Soltani is expounding on the tragic and disastrous facts of the internal relations of MKO to which Mojahedin make no negative and public reaction. The fact is that despite her children being at the hands of Mojahedin as hostages and attempts to use them as blackmail for her keeping silent, she insists on revealing the real nature of MKO and Rajavi due to her years of suffering and pain inside MKO. Although her efforts are just for humanistic causes, she is to be appreciated and sympathized for the costs she has paid in the past and is likely to pay in the future.
Open Letter to Mr. Mirek Topolánek, President of the Council of Europe
Honorable President of the European Council, Mr. Mirek Topolánek,
We have the honor to inform you that we, the separated members of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) who have taken shelter in the European states, have been informed by authentic sources that the European Council will consider and verify the terrorist groups’ list very soon. As far as we know, the European Council intends to remove the name of the PMOI from the present terrorist list as indexed. Whereas, we, the former members of this organization are the direct and ipso facto victims of this cult’s terrorist and cultic activities, so that we have witnessed the crimes of this cult. Therefore, we feel responsibility and it is our human duty to express our humane views in the framework of the democratic regulations of the European Council regarding accurate and effective decision-making with the intention of serving and helping the states of Europe and human beings, in particular, the victims and the caged captives of the Ashraf Garrison in Iraq.
1- We, the emancipated victims of the Mojahedin cult will be pleased and appreciative as we admire Europe’s honest representatives, if the elimination of this sect from the terrorist groups’ list will result in the emancipation and freedom of the incarcerated victims of this cult in the Ashraf Garrison in Iraq. As a result, the locked gate of Ashraf Garrison can be breached and opened for the locked up victims so that the innocent victims can have the right and opportunity to leave Ashraf Garrison and settle down in the European states. Undoubtedly, such an effective step via the European Council can accelerate the rising trend of the eradication of this cult. Subsequently, we, the separated members and the public opinion of the West will welcome the European Council’s decision.
2- We, the liberated victims of this cult declare our opposition versus any political deal and action, which means that this cult shouldn’t be used as a political tool by Europe in the regional balance of power. As a result of such policy, the leaders and key officials of this cult are allowed to have opportunities and facilities such as free trips with the intention of achieving their cultic and terrorist purposes in European countries. Without any doubt, we, the emancipated victims of this cult are the prime victims of such political deals whose lives are at the direct and short range targets of terrorists via this cult in the European states. Meanwhile, the Mojahedin’s cult leadership takes advantage of such conditions to prolong the present impasse situation in Ashraf Garrison in Iraq to confine over three thousand innocent victims in custody in Ashraf Garrison.

Your Excellency! 
With regards, I wish to inform you that the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) has released news concerning the trip of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi to Germany in its entire media system.
You surely are aware that the MKO is in the list of terrorist groups in the United States, Canada and the European Union for murdering the people of Iran as well as the people of Iraq. Mrs. Maryam Rajavi also has a legal file open in France for conducting terrorism and organizing crimes as well and fraud and money laundry.
My question is that how such person who is leading a terrorist destructive cult is allowed to freely travel to your democratic country.
I must emphasize that I am a former member of the MKO who is now objecting to supporting a terrorist leader.
My name is Sho’le Shadrm. I am 42 years old, and I am living in Sweden now for 14 years. I unfortunately lost 7 years of my life with the MKO in Iraq. As soon as I criticized the organization and tried to question the cult leader Massoud Rajavi and his wife Maryam, I was subject to all sorts of insults and assaults and I was put under sever mental pressure and I even was jailed. You can imagine that what sort of a place an Iraqi jail under Saddam Hussein can be. I was condemned by the MKO like many others who had criticized the leadership, and we were handed over to the Iraqi security officers to suffer our lives. They hoped that by doing so we would regret and plead for mercy and go back to the MKO again. But most of us resisted against difficulties and I finally managed to come to Sweden. I am now living with my Swedish husband and our four children. But I must point out that I still suffer from the reminiscences of the days I spent with the cult in Iraq.
Your Honor!
Wouldn’t it be appropriate if Mrs. Maryam Rajavi is asked about all the miseries that hundreds of individuals like me had to experience just because they wanted to leave the MKO? For what reason the most basic human rights was deprived of me and many others like me? I suggest you read the report released by the Human Rights Watch on May 2005. You would realize for yourself that how the most preliminary human rights was systematically abused inside the MKO. In this report cases such as solitary confinements, torture, and even murdering the opponents and critics have clearly been mentioned.
Regardless of all political affairs which could perhaps be the main reason for the German support of the MKO and the Rajavis, shouldn’t some attention be paid to the systematic violation of human rights within this organization? Wouldn’t be better if the German parliamentarians asked Mrs. Rajavi about the harsh situation of the children of the members and castrating the women? Shouldn’t she be asked about compulsory divorces, abandoning the children, mind manipulation of the members, and rejecting family members inside the organization? Could political interests be an excuse to close eyes on violation of human rights?

Paris/France – 2008/12/25 – We, the separated members and the victims of this in humane cult who have lost our pride of life under the captivity and detention of the cult operatives and conductors. So that, we had been under the worst psychological and physical tortures. Therefore, we urge the international organizations including U. N. and all Human Rights Organizations such as Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and Red Cross as well as ruling leaders of the democratic and progressive states to save the life of the remaining victims who include three thousand five hundred individuals. We call for under-mentioned human activities for the maintenance of the life of these victims:
1- We call for the permission of entry into the ASHRAF Garrison where has been as a place to torture the dissidents and others psychologically and physically for many years. The military camp that consists of numerous custodies with the intention of hush-up of the any opposition and dissidence towards the ideology of the cult leader called MASSOUD RAJAVI. As a result, the victim’s families can be able to enter this camp to meet their beloved ones freely.
2- We urge Iraqi govt. to establish the conditions to every resident of the ASHRAF Garrison to have the right to choose any kind of dressing, so that, nobody has to wear military uniform contrary to his or her will and tendency, so, everyone can enjoy the right to dressing.
3- we call for the conditions that every resident of this Military Garrison can be allowed to leave or enter this military camp according to his or her own willing so that, they can enjoy the right to trip to other cities of Iraq.
4- We ask Iraqi govt. to provide the facilities of communications such as T. V., Radio, Internet and Satellite for the ASHRAF Garrison residents to communicate the other parts of the world. The bitter reality is that they have been deprived of such facilities for many years.
5-We call on the Iraqi govt. for the inauguration and opening of a new camp as the old closed camp entitled TIPF so that, the residents can be able to leave this damned ASHRAF Garrison and take shelter in the new camp. Subsequently, they can access the international Human Rights Organizations for further actions including interview and meeting therefore they can determine their destiny and future life in an open air.
6-We call for a delegation of the Human Rights Organizations to refer this camp to contact the residents without the presence of the MOJAHEDIN officials as a result, further truths can be revealed for the world regarding the perpetrated cruelty and persecution by this cult.
7-we call for a medical delegation with supervision of Without Border Doctors to attend this Garrison to visit the whole residents so that, they can obtain real information regarding every ones’ psychological and physical conditions. Then, this delegation is being expected to donate human medical assistances for the in humane cult prisoners and captives.
8- We call for the isolation and separation of these cult commanders who are 200 persons and have been involved in several crimes including "brain washing" and controlling of the victims. Therefore, these operatives must be displaced and there must not be any ideological and organized monitoring so that the victims can enjoy the right to have the free choice of their fate and the path of the life and future.
We reiterate and believe that, locking up the gate of ASHRAF and abolition of this Garrison, is a significant step in rescuing the life of the thousands victims from ominous clutch of RAJAVI (cult’s leader) and his cult operatives. Undoubtedly, RAJAVI is concern of such a condition and endeavoring therefore he and his cult operatives continue to keep the victims forcibly in the ASHRAF GARRISON by all means.
With the best wishing for the freedom of the whole captives and victims in the detention of RAJAVI’s cult and joining these victims to the free world.

Arash Sametipour, spokesman for a Tehran-funded organisation called Nejat (rescue), which helps the Mojahedin-e-Khalq (MEK) defectors, left the MEK in 2001 after being arrested in Tehran when an attempt to kill the city’s police chief went wrong. Sametipour lost his hand while trying to kill himself by 
exploding a grenade. He spent nearly four years in prison.
"I was recruited by MEK as a student of computer engineering in northern Virginia in 1999," he told the Guardian. "They convinced me that if I wanted to be a fighter for jihad I had to abandon my parents and give up my education."
After months of training he was sent to Jordan and crossed into Iraq to Camp Ashraf.
"I had to watch videos of [MEK leader Massoud] Rajavi and write reports on my feelings. There were also meetings for self-criticism. They said you have to put away any love for belongings and for family.
"At first I resisted but you have no way out. You have no other news. I started to change in the way they wanted me to change.
"Finally in 2001 they gave me a mission. I was taken to Basra and, with the support of the Iraqi security service, was brought across the border."
He argues that closing Camp Ashraf will give MEK people the chance to escape from cult pressures and have a free choice of where to live.
Mahmoud Tabrizi, a UK-trained engineer who left Iran during the Shah’s time and joined the MEK, spent three years at Camp Ashraf in the 1990s. "You have to be totally dedicated. If you have the smallest doubt, you have to leave. I decided to go, even though I still support their activities. It’s the only army which treats deserters in the same way as its members. They paid my ticket to return to Britain," he said.

TODAY, fortunately we found out that an honorable IRAQI delegation with honorable MR. MOVAFAGH ALRABIEE, as the head of this delegation, entered ASHRAF GARRISON in IRAQ and officially declared the shutting down of this notorious garrison in the near future.
We, as the victims of this notorious and nefarious cult, would like to thank you and your honorable delegation that carried out such a humanitarian act which is the most fundamental and substantial step to help those who are stranded and captivated in this cult to breathe the fresh air of freedom after decades . We believe shutting down of this notorious garrison (ASHRAF) will help our friends who are captives in it, to rescue themselves from their captors and decide for their own life in free atmosphere without the intervention of the cult’s cruel leaders, operatives and governing council of this inhumane cult.
We would like to thank you again for your endeavors to shut down ASHRAF GARRISON. We hope all the innocent people who are stranded in this terrorist cult will be released from the RAJAVI’s cult clutch in very near future and start over their normal life in free and democratic countries, which have been deprived of it for decades.

I believe if you have not been a member of the MKO cult, it is too hard to 
understand what the “systematic control” is. I will mention some aspects of it which I myself used to control members with. I name them one by one:
Current Operations Sessions:
that is to speak out mind contradictions and to do self-criticism in front of a large gathering. In these sessions one has to severely self-criticize oneself and be harshly humiliated by others. This a technique used for mind manipulation of the members.
Group Works:
contacting families with the presence of a third person; working on the internet in groups of two or more; scheduled work plan without any spare moment; the minimum sleeping time; hard physical works, and so on.
Divinity:
the guru and the members of the leadership council and some elements close to the leader have a divine kind of ruling authority and a powerful mental influence over the ordinary members. The first rule is to express mind contradictions. That is the individual is persuaded to approach and express the contradictions of his thoughts compared with the instructions of the organization.
What do they mean by “Contradictions”? In the first phase of a person entering into the MKO or during a period of time after that, they indoctrinate the person to know what the criterion of each period is. For example, they indoctrinate that the “criterion of this era is to divorce the spouses”. So the member who enters the organization and its internal relations is supposed to describe the moments when he or she faces contradictions against the valuable phenomenon [divorce] in the ideology of the organization. Or in another example: suppose that the value in the MKO is that the men should keep away from the women. If an individual views a contradiction in such a value, he is encouraged to write them and hand them over to the officials. For instance if he saw a film and liked a woman in it or if he saw a woman in a gathering in Iraq and the woman recalled his wife to him; or if a woman saw a man and she thought of her husband, they would confess them all as their thought contradictions.
They convince the individual that expressing the contradictions is something that might cost any price. They talk about “any price” because the individual should expect insults and maltreatments following expressing his contradictions. A lot of time and effort is used for this issue.
They say that the principals of our doctrine are devotion and honesty. You should be so honest that you should confess all the moments of your feelings contradictory to the organizations’ values although they result to a disaster for you, or in the organizational terms: “You should pay any price” for being honest to the organization.
They want to control the members at any time during the day. They say that being a “Mojahed” is a valuable object. If a person, in one moment, thinks of family or social life or wishing to have a wife and home …, he or she should tell all the thoughts to the officials of the cult so they will be aware for the threat they feel from the side of that person and he/she will be under a higher control after that.
In the organizational hierarchy when an official who is responsible to control a low ranking member, doesn’t notice his problematic situation which ends him defecting or escaping from the group, that official will be deposed from his rank.
The worst punishments are enforced on the officials who are not aware of the problems of their forces who are about to defect. Rajavi even expressed in his message to the Leadership Council that: “It is much better to have two defectors everyday rather than having a runaway every year.”
See, how crucial it is for them. Now, what is the difference between a person who runs away and a person who comes to the groups’ leader asking to leave them? There is a big difference: Someone who escapes had so many contradictions in his mind that he eventually leaves the cult. He costs a high political price for the MKO. On the other hand, allegedly the future of this person has not been burned and he will be used by the enemy. Therefore it is very important for the leaders that if you want to leave, you should come and say so. They can find out when the member expresses his contradictions. They will focus on him. They put too much mental pressure on him in order to manipulate him, torturing him mentally, so as he might admit his regret and show his willingness to remain. If the person is a woman, they will bother her so much that she says “I was wrong”. If the person is a man and they finally find out that they can not keep him in, they will operate the process of “Burning future.”
It means that they have the defector to sign some engagements to allegedly burn his future. I remember a woman (whom I don’t want to tell her name) who wanted to leave the MKO, the officials told her “You want to go to cooperate with Iranian regime, to become a revolutionary guard, a torturer.” She said “No”. They said: “so if you do not want to be used by the regime you should be interviewed.”
They told her that the organization had helped her a lot and she must say it in the interview otherwise they wouldn’t let her go away.
They had dictated her interview. She had said “I am in complete health. The organization has helped me a lot. It struggles for its people’s freedom. It is so good …”
For the MKO leaders, it is not important what the defector wants to do. The only crucial thing is whether she will or won’t talk against the MKO. Only her silence matters. They want the defectors to leave, keep quiet and die…
