Mahin Habibi attended the sit-in of families of Nejat Society in front of the office of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in Tehran.
She is the mother of Parvaneh Rabiee, a member of the Mujahedin-e Khalq. She has not met and even contacted her daughter for over forty years. The years of separation from her beloved daughter has left her with grieves and pains.
As a young girl, Parvaneh had immigrated to Germany where she was taken as a hostage by the MEK recruiters. Leaders of the MEK do not allow Parvaneh to contact her mother because they consider family as the enemy of their cult-like organization.
Listen to the heartbroken mother of Parvaneh.
Families and Members
My dear Ali,
I received the news of the birth of your beautiful daughter on Friday, January 13th , coincidently Mother’s Day in Iran. This was the best and the most valuable gift that you could give me on this occasion. Elisa is the greatest gift the God offered you and our family.
My beloved son,
I hope you could know how happy and pleased I am, as a mother who languished to hear the voice of his son for years. The son that had gone to war to defend his country and his people but was taken as a war prisoner and then was imprisoned in a new prison called Ashraf of the Mujahedin-e Khalq where he lost best years of his younghood earning no job, no education, no income and no wealth.
You lost your life under the brainwashing system and the fraudulent propaganda of the Cult of Rajavi where marriage and having baby was forbidden and an impossible wish. You spent those years in the worse and most disastrous conditions until, thanks to God and our prayers, you were released from the cult.
You were again imprisoned this time by the Albanian government two months ago as the result of the plots created by the leaders of the MEK. This unlawful act prevented you from being by the side of your beloved wife while she was going through labor. However, I still believe that the will of God is more powerful than all the devilish plots. I am sure that you and your friends will be free soon. God will bring you back to us.
I am grateful to God that gave me enough life to see your child, my grandchild. Send the congrats of me and all your siblings to your caring and kind wife who protested and complained your detention despite the difficult conditions of pregnancy.
Wishing you freedom and your warm company by the side of your daughter and family. I kiss you.
Your mother Sakineh Avazzadeh (Hajari)
Parents of Ali Asghar Baba Ali sent a video message to their son taken as a hostage in the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK/ PMOI). Asghar’s mother Batul Bobetam and his father Ali Akbar Babai asked their beloved son to contact the after 34 years.
Ali Asghar Baba Ali was a young soldier serving the last days of his army service when he was taken as a war prisoner by Iraq forces during Iran-Iraq war, in 1988. He was deceived to join the MEK by the group recruiters a while before the POWs were exchanged between the two countries.
In their recent video message, Asghar’s parents tell him how much they love him and miss him. They ask him to call them and let them know about his conditions. “We are looking forward to see you,” his mother says. “Why don’t you call us? Mobiles are available everywhere.”
Ashghar’s family have so far written several letters to the International human rights bodies demanding for an opportunity to be able to contact him since the MEK leaders do not allow him to contact his family. They also publish video messages and open letters on Nejat Society website addressing Asghar in the hope that he will see them someday.
Fatemeh Hosseini, the mother of Hassan Heyrani asked the Albanian government to end detention of her son. In a video message she asked for the release of Hassan, member of the Association for the Support of Iranians Living in Albania (ASILA) who together with 5 other ASILA members have been detained in Karrec detention center.
Regarding the uncertain situation of her son after two months of detention, Fatemeh Hosseini is seriously concerned about his health because they have gone on hunger strike to protest the limbo he has been kept in.

She asks the Albanian government, the UN High commissioner of Refugees and the mass media not to remain passive about violation of the rights of the detained members of ASILA.
In the last two months ago, Hassan and 5 other members of ASILA have been imprisoned by the Albanian border and immigration Police without being accused of any charge.
Former child soldier of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ Cult of Rajavi) writes about several questions his mind was flooded with during the years he was kept under the rule of the Cult of Rajavi. Under the order of Massoud Rajavi, Mohammad Reza Torabi and 800 children of the MEK were separated from their Mujahed parents in 1991. He was smuggled to Canada where he had to stay with MEK agents in their bases in Toronto or he was forced to live with families who were linked with the group. This is his Facebook post on his concerns as a child whose basic rights were violated in the MEK:
The main question that has come to my mind all these years after being sent from Iraq to Canada was why not even one of my parents accompanied me? Wasn’t it their goal to save my life, as they said? Why did my mom let me be handed over to a family in Toronto that constantly assaulted me, even when they were mad at their other kids? A family with a psychotic mother and a revengeful father who hated the MEK and projected his hatred for Massoud Rajavi on me. Why was it allowed to be sexually assaulted by one of Rajavi’s full-time supporters at the age of 11 at the MEK’s base in Toronto? Why?! Wasn’t it their duty to protect my life?
I got the answer when I wanted to leave the MEK in 2017. When Zahra Seraj (my biological mother) gave me an ultimatum saying, “If you leave the Mujahedin, you are no longer my son and I will no longer have a relationship with you.” And I proudly left the Rajavi worshiping cult. Yes, Rajavi’s dirty ideology has brainwashed these fathers and mothers that they are ready to prefer the organization and its disappeared leader over their children not once but a thousand times. They have become so brainwashed that now in the German court they write false testimonies against us. The bitter humor of the story is that they consider it their honor!
History will make harsh judgement on these fake revolutionaries. The winter will go and the blackness will remain in the charcoal.
The Mujahedin Organization, the trial is ahead.
Tick tok tok!
At the age of 16, the MEK agents promised Mohammad Reza to take him to Iraq to visit his parents. However, he was made sign a recruitment form to join the MEK’s army in Iraq, National Liberation Army! He was not told that his father had passed away five years earlier. He came to know about his father’s death just after he arrived in Camp Ashraf in 1999. During the 18 years that he was in the Cult of Rajavi, he worked hard serving the alleged cause of the MEK. He was never told how his father was killed under torture in the MEK’s internal prison. He was informed about his father’s killers only after he left the group in 2017. Today he lives in Germany enjoying the free world. He is writing his autobiography “A Ray of Light”.
Samira was only one and a half year old when her father left her and her mother behind to join the Mujahedin Khalq (MEK). She has not seen her father since then. Samira is 42 years old; she is married and she has two children who have no idea about their grandfather.
“When my father married my mother, he was both a teacher and a farmer,” Samira said. “I was one and a half years old when he left Iran to join the MEK. As far as my father was in France, he used to call my grandmother once a year but since he went to Iraq, we have had no access to him.”
Esmail Shahsavar, 69, from northern Iran, Golestan province, is still a member of the MEK. In better words, he is a hostage of the MEK who has been kept behind the bars of the Cult of Rajavi for forty years. He is residing in the group’s Camp Ashraf 3 in Albania, now. He has not been allowed to contact his family during these long years of separation.
When the group was located in Iraq, Ismail’s wife and his brother traveled to Iraq to visit him but they were not allowed by the group leaders to visit him. “My mother lives alone,” Samira told Nejat Society. “She has been expecting the return of my father in all these years. Her desire is the return of her husband.”
Samira has already published several messages to her beloved father in the hope that he will see them someday. This is a part of one of her messages to Esmail she sent two years ago:
“Dear father, I am your little Samira. I am 40 now and the mother of two children but I have never enjoyed the love of my father. What an ideology says that a father is not allowed to call his child? Dear father, I love you and I want you to get back to normal life, to enjoy life in free world.”
Mr. Karim Khan, Honorable Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court
Greetings and Regards,
We would like to inform you that we are from the families of members of the Mojahedin sect. Unfortunately, for many years, Maryam Rajavi has trapped our children in mental and physical captivity with the tools of violent repression and brainwashing, depriving them of the right to live and communicate with the free world. This sectarian group has been torturing our loved ones mentally and physically for decades in Iraq and now in Albania.
Maryam Rajavi and other key members of this inhumane group have created a new form of slavery in the Mojahedin camp. The practical ban on members’ marriage has led to genocide. There have been tears in our eyes for years so that we can visit our children for once. But Maryam Rajavi opposes this demand by violating moral principles. The crimes of the Mojahedin leaders against the disgruntled members are numerous, and our children are exposed to the dangerous thoughts of the leaders of this sect in order to be destroyed. While we fully support the complaints of the former members against the Mojahedin, you are asked to take serious measures to expedite the prosecution of Maryam Rajavi and other leaders of this evil group.
Thanks & Regards:

Dear friends, in this video, an elderly Iranian mother next to her husband appeals to the Albanian authorities to grant her and her husband visas to come to Albania to meet their son Hassan Heirani. They have not met their son for 28 years, and even for 14 years they could not even talk to him, because the Rajavi Cult (Iranians in Manzeh) do not allow members of the Cult to contact family members.
The mother is ready to meet her son in Albania even in the presence of the Albanian authorities, so not only for herself, because she fears the slanderous campaign of the Rajavi Cult with “gogols” of the Iranian spy type, terrorists of the Tehran Regime, mercenaries of the mullahs of idiocy of this kind.
I believe that the Albanian authorities will grant Albanian visas to two elderly Iranian parents, otherwise I publicly promise that I will do not only what is possible, but also the impossible to stigmatize the wickedness and lack of human feelings among the high hierarchs of “Renaissance” of Prime Minister Rama.
I believe that it is worthwhile to provide this elderly couple with a visa, so that the renaissance does not pay the bill of a negative publicity inside and outside Albania.
In a situation overloaded with social tensions to the brink of explosion, I do not believe that “Rilindja” has the capacity to withstand an additional source of trouble and public unmasking !!!!
Gjergji Thanasi,
Ms. Roghayeh Farazian Fard Kohan, the mother of Fereydoun Nedaee, a member of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MEK, MKO, Rajavi Cult), said at the nationwide online conference of the Nejat Society held on August 2021:
In the name of God. I am Roghayeh Farazian Fard Kohan, the mother of Fereydoun Nedaee. Hello Deare Fereydoun. I am your mother. I have been waiting for a long time. Every day, every hour and every minute, I am waiting for the news to hear whether Fereydoun is coming or not. Does he call or does he not? I would like to know about your health. I have not heard from you for a long time. You were a prisoner of war. You always wrote in your letter that you would like to see us lively when you come. I would like you to come now and see how lively I am!
I am waiting. I am waiting for you as long as I live, as long as my soul is in my body. Why did you take refuge with them? Why did you believe their fabricated lies? They said that the resolution was accepted, but a year has passed and they have not let you go. You have not been returned to Iran. We will bring you back. They deceived you and took you away and brainwashed you.
Why did you become a refugee in this group? This group is ignorant of God. This group does not care about you. They only seek their own power. My Fereydoun. Please. If you do not want to come to Iran, you could go somewhere else. You said that you do want to come to Iran. You loved Iran. Why don’t you ever think about us? I do not know what you think. Do you think that if you come back to us, we will reject you? You are our child. You are my eldest child.
Your two brothers and relatives are waiting for you. They want you. They like to be with you. You do not know, dear Fereydoun, that your father and your brothers and I have been waiting for you for years. We are waiting for your visit. We are waiting for you to at least make a phone call and we would be aware of your health. This damn group would not let you keep in touch with your family. It is inhumane and a sin to God. This group incites you against us and washes your brain against us. Your parents love you and your brothers love you. They want you back.
My mind does take all these. Dear Fereydoun. I love you so much. I longed for you, that you would get married. Have children and see your children and I will have grandchildren. But unfortunately, you killed this wish in my heart. You have aged yourself. You crushed me. You destroyed me. Isn’t that enough for you? I do not know how much this Maryam Rajavi means to you? You always used to curse them. You did not accept them. Why did you go there and stayed so long? What did they do to you? What did we do to you when you left us? I have been waiting for you for years. How many times I came to Iraq during your captivity and I got sick, and how sick I was in Tehran. As soon as I recovered, I returned to Iraq to see you and I sent you messages. But unfortunately, I saw obscenities and stone-throwing and many other things. Now I do not know which about you. Unfortunately, you have left us in a state of unhappiness and anxiety.
I ask you, and I just ask God that you return from that group. It’s not too late. Return from that group. Come to your family. If you do not like your family, you can go to other countries. Go to your aunts. Your aunts accept you. Your family will accept you too.
Nothing calms me down. I liked music very much. The music really calmed me down when you were captured. But now music does not give me peace. You have to come to yourself. You must go to a place where you could think about your life. Think about your future. Why don’t you think about your future? You ruined your life in this group. Maryam Rajavi has not care for you. He is working for his own ruling, which I hope will never happens and she will be destroyed.
P.S. Mr. Nedaee, the late father of Fereydoun Nedaee, has passed away now.
Habibollah Qasemi is from Zanjan, Iran. He traveled to Turkey when he was young. He then traveled to Greece seeking a better life in Europe. It was there that he was deceived by the recruiters of the Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO/ MEK/ PMOI/ Cult of Rajavi). In April 2002, Habib was taken to the MEK’s Camp Ashraf, Iraq. Since then, his family has had no contact with him.
The Qasemis including Habib’s mother and his siblings made efforts in order to find a way to contact Habib but none of their actions have worked. They even participated the national court that was held in Tehran, in March 2021, in which 42 former members of the MEK presented their complaints against the leaders of the group.
The little sister of Habib, Leila addressed the court, “We have not seen my brother for 19 years.”. Habib’s mother and his other sister, Mina also were interviewed by journalists who were covering the court process. “Habib! Escape the group!” the elderly mother told him via the media. “Habib escape from the cult just like your friends who escaped!”
Leila Qasemi also attended the on-line conference held by Nejat Society in August 2021. “My brother has been taken as a hostage for 20 years now,” Leila addressed the conference. “My family and I support the petition made by 42 former members of the group and ask the international community to take the due actions. I hope that we are allowed to visit my brother. Unfortunately, my father, two of my brothers and one of my sisters died while they were looking forward to visiting Habib. This is neither fair nor humanitarian.”
