With great regret, we were informed of the passing of Mrs. Badri Hosseinian Foote the wife of Professor Paul Sheldon Foote.
The honorable couple were human rights activists who were also focused on the Mujahedin-e Khalq (MEK) as a terrorist communist cult that violates the rights of their members and their families.
Lady Bardi died at Namazi Hospital in Shiraz, Iran. “Badri Khanum” was a familiar name in America for human rights activists. Her activities aimed at exposing the anti-human nature of the Cult of Rajavi.
Professor Sheldon Foote announced the passing of his wife in his LinkedIn account:
With immense sorrow, I announce the death of my beloved wife of 55 years at Namazi Hospital in Shiraz, Iran. We married on October 25, 1968. Badri and I met while working at the Chief Foreign Branch of Barclays Bank in London, England. She was a bank Managerfor Bank Melli Iran.
Born in Shiraz, she was a graduate of the University of Shirazi. There is a famous song about my dear Shirazi girl. Many Iranians told me that the best wives come from Shiraz. I learned that this is true.
Our marriage survived extreme strains, such as the Iranian Revolution and America’s endless wars against Muslim countries.
Evil American politicians and media lie about Muslim and Christian relations. Thanks to my marriage with a Muslim and my work with the Middle East and North Africa, I learned about how America’s evil leaders and media dupe Americans into even supporting a genocide in Gaza. Shame on anyone who votes for Democrats and Republicans who support Israel.
Badri and I struggled to provide the best of both worlds for our children and grandchildren. Hopefully, others will follow Badri’s example. Badri was the best.
Badri (Hosseinian) Foote
1936 – 2024
Nejat Society sends its most sincere and deepest condolences to Professor Foote on the loss of lady Badri who was a great woman, always standing on the right side of the history.
