The anti-Iranian demonstration that the MEK organized in Paris on February 8th was, as always, scandalous.
In addition to the numerous Ukrainian flags that showed the presence of hundreds of Ukrainian refugees at the event, there were also reports of the dissatisfaction of these deceived participants.
The image that was viewed the most on social media and was circulated was a tweet from a Ukrainian participant who expressed his dissatisfaction with the service provided by the organizers of the demonstration and blamed Iranians based on the fraudulent performance of the MEK.
This Ukrainian participant wrote in his tweet: “Iranians are deceitful and liar. Yesterday, an Iranian organization invited me to a demonstration against Russia and for support my country, promising hospitality and a tour of Paris, but then I realized that it was a lie and at the beginning of the ceremony they took my country’s flags from me. These same fraudsters are allies of Russia.”

A Ukrainian’s account of attending the MEK demonstration
This is while the National Council of Resistance, as the MEK’s propaganda vitrine, has claimed in its reports that Ukrainians have joined their anti-Iranian demonstrations in a spontaneous wave.
For example, the Euronews report mentions a 37-year-old Ukrainian nurse who now lives in Germany, as “one of the people who came to Paris to join the Iranian protesters.”
For a war-torn Ukrainian who has settled in European countries with thousands of hardships, a tour of Paris could be a dream trip that can be realized by the MEK buses. It may be that a little political motivation and shared anti-Iranian sentiments are also the spice of this Paris friendship, but apparently the MEK’s blunder during the demonstration and reception has caused a scandal.
This is not the first time that the Cult of Rajavi has sent vulnerable refugees and displaced persons from all over Europe to Paris with the promise of lunch and sandwiches and a tour of Paris.
