Calls for MKO expulsion from Iraq increased

a conference held in the holy city of Karbala to discuss the negative effects of the existence of the Terrorist organization of Mujahedin in Iraq. The participants demanded the organization out of their homeland and closure of their Camp [Camp Ashraf]..The conference held while Iraqi government is seriously determined to close MKO’s[PMOI/MEK] case and to expel them out of the Iraqi soil since the group’s presence is a flagrant violation of the constitution and the sovereignty of Iraq.

Iraqi Tribal Leaders Want Mojahedin Khalq Expelled

Southern Iraq’s tribal leaders held a session Saturday in which they called for a bid to expel the terrorist elements of Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) from Iraqi soil. Speaking at the session, tribal committee chief at Iraq’s parliament condemned the existence of any terrorist organization in Iraq naming the MKO which was considered as a tool in the hands of Iraq’s former Baath regime to suppress Iraqi Shiites.

U.K., U.S. and Israel have a duty to grant safe haven to Mojahedin-e Khalq

The Iraqi administration issued a statement on June 17, 2008 designating the Mojahedin-e Khalq as a terrorist organization and calling on the U.S. to stop supporting the militant group. June 19, Al Alam television aired a discussion on the issue on its ‘Iraq Today’ programme. The programme titled ‘Mojahedin-e Khalq terrorists and American support’ was presented by Ali Al Sadi.

Iraq Not Place to Raid Neighbors

He said that Iran has also expressed concerns over ‘Mujahedin Khalgh’ an Iranian opposition terrorist group (MKO) to employ Iraq’s territories to target some ends in Iran. “Iraqi government should adopt swift measures to resolve this crisis,”he said. “Terrorists, mostly from Baathists and the members of terrorist MKO, try to divide Shia and Sunni muslims and to ignite the fire of clashes between Arabs, Kurds and Turkmens living in Dyala province,”said Taha Dor’ Al-Sa’di, representative of Dyalah people in Iraqi parliament.
