Distorting history and producing different versions of a same historical event is an illness, with long history in the MKO.
For different reasons, including whitewashing the crimes of the past or to win the attraction of new supporters, MKO distorts the history and broadcast new versions of it through its propagandistic outlets.
MKO’s irresolvable crisis- that has happened to this group after the fall of Saddam- has nothing to do with the new Iraqi government or the pressures from Iran (despite all propaganda by the MKO); instead, the presence of terrorist and murderous gang of Rajavi in Iraq, which received legitimacy from the toppled dictator, is illegal from international viewpoints ..
According to Newswires, Iraqi president Mr. Jalal Talabani has announced that Iraq has reached an agreement with Ankara to stop the penetration of PKK paramilitary forces to Turkey.
Following reports on the closure of some PKK offices in Iraq, Turkish foreign minister said:”PKK will be dismantled and we will see this very soon”….
In a realistic view, this is an invalid claim than can get no attention and independent newswires, governments, political institutions and parliamentarians approach such claims with scoff.
On the other hand, MKO with a few non-MKO members of the council (called NCRI), faces a major problem: having no supporter in Iran.
Al-Qarawim, quoting Maryam Rajavi as saying”they used us as hostages”, emphasizes that:”In this interview, Rajavi criticized European countries for their approach toward the MKO and expressed regret that they don’t pay attention to MKO’s requests.”
Maryam Rajavi, representing Massoud Rajavi’s treacherous gang, rushed to welcome this anti-Iran resolution to prove her faithfulness to Americans (whom she hopes will support her after Saddam Hussein).
The main purpose of Maryam Rajavi, of course, is to boost the morale of restricted MKO members who have been waiting for this resolution for years.
the whole views and ideas of different parties in the US can be summarized in a line, one end of which proposes negotiations and relations with Iran and the other suggests wide military action. However, what concerns the MKO in this issue is that they have no place in proposals (on the table of US administration) and that they are not worthy to be invested on.
Fox News, the channel of American warmongers, which seems to have faced legal restrictions for using the spokesman of terrorist MKO (Alireza Jafarzadeh), reported a letter from him- without inviting or showing him.
In a press conference in Baghdad, Maliki said the government had discussed the issue of MKO’s presence in Iraq. Referring to the fact that MKO is considered a terrorist group, Maliki said its presence in Iraq contradicts Iraqi constitution.
American forces have disarmed and restricted the members of the group. After their disarmament, Iraqi governing council ordered the expulsion of MKO and extradition of its members to Iran.
