Parliament to approve a priority of the draft to pursue the rights of Iranian victims of terrorism

In the open session held on January 18, 2011 in parliament, a priority of the legal draft for pursuing the rights of Iranian victims of terrorism in national and international trials was approved.

The representative of the Iranian Parliament(Majlis)investigated the one starred priority draft that requires the government to pursue the human rights of the Iranians victimized by acts of terrorism, in Iranian and international tribunals. They agreed on priority of the draft.

The single article of the draft that was signed by 51 members of the parliament reads: the administration is charged to take action to demand justice in Iranian and international courts regarding the Iranian victims of terrorism.

Priority of the draft was approved with 127 “Yes”, 6 “No” and a 16 “abstain” votes.
