Minister of State and Official Speaker of Government, Ali Dabbagh, said,”The Council of Ministers asserted its earlier decision to liquidate the presence of the Iranian Mujahedin Khalq Organization (MKO), by the end of the current year.
Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said on Monday that the cabinet is determined to shut down Camp Ashraf located north of the capital, Baghdad, and disband the terrorist group, AFP reported….Dabbagh further underlined that the ministers had decided that the MKO members would be forced to leave Iraq”through all means, including political, diplomatic, and cooperation with the United Nations and international organizations.”
… Al-Dabbagh says that the government is working to forbid terrorist organizations from operating in Iraq. Ali al-Musawi, media adviser to the prime minister, says that the Iraqi forces were executing a judicial decree to return 50 square kilometers around the camp [Ashraf] to their owners. Al-Musawi described the [Iranian] Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization aka MKO/MEK/PMOI as a terrorist organization that cannot force an independent country such as Iraq to approve its existence on its territories …
After the Iraqi criminal court ruling for the dismissal of Mujahedin –e khalq organization (a.k.a MKO, MEK, PMOI, NCRI, NLA, Rajavis’ cult…) from Iraq and repeated warnings of the Iraqi government asking the terror cell to leave Iraq and the group’s inattention, Eventually the Iraq army practically acted in expelling MKO from the country. Politicians in Diala province on Wednesday renewed their rejection to the presence of the Mujahideen Khalq organization aka MKO/MEK/PMOI in the Iraqi territories because of its interference in the internal affairs.Speaking to Aswat al-Iraq news agency, Awad al-Rabie, a member of the municipality council of Abi Saida district, said “the council has proof and evidence that assert the involvement of the Iranian opposition group in supporting the armed groups in addition to their continued attempts to flare up sectarian unrests in the country.”..
… The committee announced in a statement that the numerous crimes committed by the terrorist group should be investigated through legal channels. Addressing the elders of nomadic tribes, the representatives of NGOs and anti-MKO campaigners, the committee reiterated that it will voluntarily and without being forced by the government follow the crimes committed at the hands of MKO terrorists. The committee emphasized that it will stand up for the rights of not only the martyrs but also all the individuals wounded or maimed as a result of MKO’s terrorist acts, adding that it will file a lawsuit to.. .
… Iraqis describe the MKO’s presence in their country as a chronic disease. Some important figures turned out for the protest including tribal leaders, clerics and local government officials. Protesters shouted,”leave our country”, and carried placards with anti-MKO slogans to express their intolerance towards the presence of a terrorist group that they say has caused so much trouble in their country. The tribal leaders want the government to respect public demands and expel the MKO once and for all…
..thousands of protestors appealed Iraqi judiciary to punish criminal leaders of MKO…A protestor who was one of the organizers of the demonstration, Habar Al Amuri told Al Sumaria News:”this morning, thousands of Diyala citizens protested against presence of MKO in their territory. They gathered in front of gates of Camp of New Iraq (formerly Ashraf),the organization’s base in Iraq. They asked the government to expel the organization from Iraqi soil.”
“There have been recently revealed some documents proving the[MKO/MEK/PMOI] terrorist organization’s involvement in terrorist activities against the Iraqi people and its collaboration with the former regime in repressing the Sha’baniyeh Intifada in 1991,”Abdolhossein Abtan said on Monday.”Therefore, all these people should be tried in the same criminal court which tried elements of the former regime,”he added.

As a support committee we have handed over these documents to international organizations…The question is, ‘would the countries which back this organization wish to allow them to stay in their own country as refugees’?The answer would be that every country as a sovereign state has its own rules and regulations …
