It was only a few weeks ago that reports of a meeting between the heads of the Rigi group and terrorist MKO was disclosed; they met in an area in Pakistan and held talks to make a joint front and to cooperate in line with making a terrorist group under the name of the Armed Forces Organization of Mojahedin. It was said that provision of weaponry and exchange of information have been among agreed issues..

The Jundullah terrorist group warned Baghdad government that it would retaliate against the closure of a main camp of the anti-Iran terrorist Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization (MKO) by the Iraqi forces.”…the Iraqi government should know that its hostile measures against the residents of Camp Ashraf who are Iranian immigrants in this city are not and will not be in the interest of the Iraqi government,”Jundullah said in statement.

The statements of Rigi at a time when MKO insists to remove its name form the terrorist list of the US State Department indicates that Mojahedin are well aware of mechanisms and levers to play with westerners. They realize the fact that the process of making any decision in the global scene is a long one when time has a determining role in their future.
Rigi told a US-based satellite TV station,”They (MKO/MEK/PMOI) have had good intelligence collaborations with us and have provided us with much information about the activities of the Iranian regime.”..The al-Qaeda-affiliated Jundullah is a sectarian Sunni organization that occasionally launches terrorist attacks against Shias in the southeastern Iranian province of Baluchestan from across the border in Pakistan..Rigi told a US-based satellite TV station, monitored by the ISNA news agency on June 2,”They (MKO) have had good intelligence collaborations with us.
The recent annual report of the Department of State might not have anything new on the status of the Iranian Mujahedin Khalq Organization/MKO/PMOI/MEK which has been designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization since years ago. But the speech made by Condoleeza Rice following the publication of the new list, which called the group as substantially terrorist, should be taken as serious.
