This is a government with a long and continuing history of support for Saddamists in Iraq in the hope that they can be paid to foment and maintain hostilities against Iran. By far the most blatant example of this is that from 2003 until now the US has desperately tried to keep together what is left of the Mojahedin-e Khalq at Ashraf terrorist camp (the MKO is on the US’s own list of terrorist entities) against the wishes of the Government and people of Iraq and against the human rights of the people inside the camp
However the specific approach used to dismantle the group reveals that Iraq’s authorities have a clear understanding that the principle problem posed by the group is as a dangerous, destructive mind control cult which has no place in any society.. western behaviour toward the group appears to take no account whatsoever that this is a destructive cult and instead appears to maintain the fiction that the MKO is a political or military ..
… Our lives are in danger. PMOI’s officials do not want us to go to a court of law and open a file against the crimes that they perpetrated. They have threatened, beaten up and labeled separated people in European countries many times. Few weeks ago the henchmen of PMOI assaulted and threatened Mr. Mohammad Hussein Sobhani (the former member of PMOI) in city of Cologne / Germany…

Irrespective of some speculation that this may be due to pressure from Iranians or non Iranians, I should emphasise clearly that even if Iran asks us to keep them in Iraq, we will not allow this. This is a terrorist organisation present in various lists of terrorist entities across the globe ..
Members of a group that for the last few years has sought donations from travelers at LAX on behalf of what they said was an Iraqi-based charity pleaded guilty Wednesday to federal charges of providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization[PMOI/MKO/MEK/NCR]. In a plea agreement that came just as a jury was being selected for trial, the seven defendants each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization and one count of actually providing material support to the group.
the presence of MKO/PMOI/MEK in France has turned to be a domestic controversial issue. In spite of being removed from the EU list of terror, the French authorities are well aware of its cultic threat that might jeopardize the nation’s security…that Mojahedin have broken all the norms of refugees and have committed all kinds of crimes under the cover of their political refugee status as an opposition fighting for freedom and democracy.
