The American and British failure in containing the Islamic revolution movement and the ever increasing role of Iran in regional and international developments has led them to consider all possible alternatives against the Islamic revolution and has forced Britain to resort to a burnt-out element which is”Munafeqin”[Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization -MKO]. This requires a closer look because the British were famous for their”wisdom”and”ingenuity”in politics.
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said here Friday that countries involved in removing the terrorist Mujahideen Khalq Organization (MKO) from the terrorists’ list are accomplices in the terrorist crimes committed by the grouplet.
Saturday’s ‘party’ thrown by the People’s Mujahedin,was attended by several thousand young Poles. They travelled to France after being offered the journey at a cost of under ten euros conditional upon taking part in an accompanying demonstration…..“It is very important for academia, and especially students, to cut themselves off such terrorist organisations. It is regrettable that this organisation deluded the Polish [students],” said the Ambassador.
Alaeddin Boroujerdi, head of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, talking to reporters, denounced London’s move to remove the name of terrorist Mujahedin-e Khalq Organization from its terrorist blacklist.”The British government which supports the terrorist MKO should accept consequences of its acts,”he reiterated.
…Nekoui said the groups, armed with missile launchers and other weapons, were trained outside the country, without elaborating. Iran has blamed US and British agents based in neighboring Iraq and Afghanistan for launching deadly attacks in border provinces in recent years…
“This ruling will without a doubt isolate the UK,”Hosseini cautioned, adding that the move was in line with London’s new policy ‘to use the terrorist card’ to step up pressure on regional nations and governments. “By adopting a policy of supporting terrorist groups, it (Britain) is pursuing certain provisional interests.”
“During our discussions we have provided several delegations from the United Kingdom relevant documentation reveling the terrorist activities of the Munafiqin (Mujahedeen Khalq Organization),” Alaeddin Boroujerdi, the head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said in a letter to his counterpart in the British parliament, Mike Gapes.
The Iranian Intelligence Ministry busted a CIA-backed terror group that was planning to bomb scientific, educational, and religious centers, and carry out assassinations, according to a report in the Tehran Times. The arrests come weeks after Ret. Gen. Thomas McInerney urged the U.S. to carry out terror bombings in Iran.
The protesters called for the closure of the embassy and condemned the British court decision which ruled in favor of the Mojahedin Khalq Organization, Press TV correspondent reported on Thursday. Scores of police forces were deployed at the scene to prevent angry demonstrators to attack the embassy.
