Mehdi was enslaved within the MKO/MEK/PMOI Camps along with his mother. He was among the children who were involuntary grew up and stayed within the Cult. When he was just 14 years old, Cult leaders enrolled him to the group’s military units despite the International Laws.

Former female members of the MKO, Zahra Moie’ni ,Ms. Batul Soltani , Ms. Homeyra Mohammadnezhad were representatives of Iran Zanan Association who took an action on September 29th. Their action was aimed to expose the true face of the MKO as an undemocratic, anti-human rights entity.

The book had nothing with the Iranian government nor the MKO/MEK/PMOI but I was really moved by the book. Although, the writer had no idea of the MKO, the similarities between the MKO and the cults in the United States were so significant that you would think it was written about the MKO … For the first time after so many years, I let myself think freely and independently…
