The People’s Mujahideen Organisation of Iran (PMOI) is illegal in the European Union and the United States. But the Proscribed Organisations Appeal Commission in London ruled ministers must remove it from their blacklist.
The purpose of this ballyhoolooza, we are told, is to confront the “Big Lies” of the Left regarding terrorism and militant Islam. Worthy subjects, to be sure. Indeed I would like to help the sponsors of the “wake-up call” promote awareness of them. Toward this end, let’s consider the American Right’s “special relationship” with one group of terrorists called PMOI/MKO.

According to informed sources, there is strong evidence showing that the terrorist group, Mujahedine Khalq Organization (MKO), was in collaboration with the CIA in the kidnapping of an Iranian national named Farhadi, who was a member of an Iranian commercial delegation to Sulaimaniya.
Confirming a report given to EIR News Service by an Iranian source last week, that the group responsible for violence at the Imam Hussein shrine in Karbala, Iraq on Aug. 28 was the MKO, the Tehran Times has presented information on how the MKO triggered the events. ..
MKO’s resort to armed struggle was the beginning of a bloody chapter in Iranian history that contains numerous pages of violence and terror perpetrated by the terrorist organization. Following many scattered instances of terrorist operations resulting in the killing of many innocent civilians and Iranian ranks, the next second blow came in August 30, 1981.
Iraqi newspaper al-Bayyinah al-Jadidah wrote:”The Organization for Protection of Iraqis’ Rights”asked the Iraqi government to bring the leaders of terrorist MKO to justice. Stressing the fact that terrorist MKO had been involved in killing more than 780 Iraqi citizens, the organization also asked the families of the victims to file a complain in special court.”
As their base in Iraq is being dismantled by the Iraqi government and as Massoud and Maryam Rajavi find themselves nearer to the corridors of international courts, the possibility of an outbreak of fatal terrorist activities by the cult members in western countries cannot be over estimated by any means.
